How to use Optimization Opportunities with Discovery

Lucky Orange’s new Discovery feature connects users wanting to connect optimizable opportunities on their websites with actionable insights gained from Lucky Orange features. With this information, users can identify behavior and find ways to make their websites even better. 

Access to Discovery can be found at the top of the app by clicking the Discovery button.

What are Optimization Opportunities? 

Optimization Opportunities are used to retrieve specific information. You likely use similar queries in your daily life without even knowing it. Do any of these sound familiar? 

  • Hey Siri - show me the best restaurants around me.
  • Hey Google - when did the Roman Empire collapse?
  • Hey Alexa - play me Taylor Swift’s latest album.
  • Hey ChatGPT - plan my vacation trip to Florida for a family with grade schoolers.

These are prompts that you ask to gain information, whether it’s from conversational AI or virtual assistant technology. Discovery Optimization Opportunities act in the same way, but we’ve done the heavy lifting for you. 

How to use Optimization Opportunities with Discovery

To use an Optimization Opportunity, open Discovery and select from the list as seen in the image above. Some choices are only available to our Shopify users. 

Once an Optimization Opportunity is selected, the Prompt Parameter to the right will type a summary of how you can take actionable insight. Other details you will find include: 

  • Feature destination: Where you’ll go to find the information
  • Segment: This is the group of filters that identify visitors. It isn’t available for all selections.
  • Filters: These narrow down the visitors. It isn’t available for all selections.
  • Only view online visitors: Refine the visitors to see only those who are online. It isn’t available for all selections.

Click Discover to proceed to the feature destination with any related segment, filters and online visitors.
