Why does it say I have no traffic in my email report?

If you haven’t installed the Lucky Orange tracking code into your website, your email report will say you’ve received no traffic, even when that isn’t the case. For your email report and every other Lucky Orange feature to work, you must first install the code in your site.

Learn how to install your tracking code quickly here.

You also won’t see data in your email report if you have exceeded that month's session limit for your account. If you choose to upgrade your account, you will start seeing data in your email report beginning with the day you upgraded. If not upgraded, your account will stop tracking until the next month when your account resets. When your account resets in the following month, your email reports will accurately reflect traffic on your website.

What is the difference between weekly and daily email reports?

The difference between weekly and daily email reports is the date range of data that is compiled. In daily reports, data is compared against the day prior. In the weekly report, data is compared to the week prior and shows the percentage increase or decrease.

Who receives the email report?

When you set up your email report in Settings, only you will receive the report in your email by default.

If you want others to receive your email report, you can add up to five people by typing in their email addresses. If you enter multiple email addresses, separate each email with a comma.

Each person you’ve added will receive the same email report as you with all of the information you’ve chosen to include.

If they aren’t a team member on your Lucky Orange account, they won’t be able to use any of the links in the email report.

What is included in each email report?

Each email report has a primary metric and a summary of insights. To customize your email report, choose which conversion metric you want to be included. You can choose total visits to your site, or you can select one of the events in the pulldown menu.
