How to find your top elements: From the Analytics section

Use Top Elements to see which elements on your website have the most visitor engagement. You can do this through the Heatmaps table or within Dynamic Heatmaps. You can also do this through the Analytics section itself.

Access Most Active Elements

To get started:

  1. Click on Analytics from the left navigation
  2. Select Elements from the list on the left

By default, this will list your top elements for today.

  • To add a segment to refine results: Click “Everyone” located in the upper right corner
  • To select a different date or date range: Click “Today” to select from the list of dates or custom-select a date/date range
  • To manually search for top elements on a specific page or set or pages: Click on the magnifying glass to enter in all or part of a URL
  • To add filters to refine results: Click on the filter button, shown as three lines to the right of the magnifying glass. Select from any number of filters.

Use your Most Active Elements

Note: As you filter and refine your top elements, the number of clicks (shown above as 40) will update to display the number of clicks that occurred on the element based on those filters you have in place. From your Most Active Elements Table, you can:

  • Click on the gray Watch Sessions button to see Session Recordings of people engaging with that element
  • Click the three dots to the far right of the element row to say interactions with that element as a Key Event
