How to interact with Form Analytics

With Form Analytics launched, the top three things Lucky Orange users do with Form Analytics include:

To begin, click on the Form Analytics icon at the top of the middle of the page. The Form Analytics dialog box will prompt you to select a form from the list. Click here to learn how to create a new form within Form Analytics if the form isn’t automatically detected. 



View the form summary

With Form Analytics opened and your form selected, the Form Analytics dialog box on the right will show the Summary. This summary will display overall statistics and trends for your form, including:

  • Visits (those who were on the form’s webpage)
  • Engaged (those who interacted with the form)
  • Abandoned (those who interacted with the form but left before submitting it)
  • Converted (those who completed and submitted the form)
  • Time to complete (how long it took for visitors to complete the form)

From the summary, the line graph will also display trends over time as well as changes from the previous day, week and month. To adjust this timeframe to compare data, click the gray text at the bottom of the Form Analytics dialog box: 




Analyze six different Form Analytics reports 

Lucky Orange offers fix types of Form Analytics reports:

  • Abandonment report to see the most common form fields that were last typed in before the visitors abandoned the form
  • Conversion report to see what percentage of people converted and analyze behaviors of people who did convert. See the next section below for more information about jumping to Session Recordings. 
  • Repeat fields report to see form fields that were amended the most by the same visitor
  • Time to start report to see how long visitors were on your page before they started to complete that specific field on your form 
  • Field time report to see how long it took visitors on average to complete each individual field
  • Order report to see the order in which visitors completed your form fields

To see the different types of reports:

  1. Click the Form Analytics icon in the middle of the top of the page if you haven’t yet done so. If a form is automatically detected, a blue dot will show by the icon.  When prompted, select your form from the list provided.
  2. Select the Reports tab
  3. Click the drop-down at the top of the Form Analytics dialog box to choose from the list of available Form Analytics reports



Jump to Session Recordings

Watching Session Recordings will let you put more visitor pieces together to see how they engaged with your form through Form Analytics and then watch Session Recordings to see what happened before and after they engaged with the form and/or completed a form submission.

  • Form the Form Analytics summary
    • Click the blue Play recordings text below each statistic to see people who visited, engaged with, abandoned or converted 
  • From the Form Analytics report summary

  • From the Session Recordings icon for web page-specific Session Recordings:  
    • Click the Recordings icon at the top of the Form Analytics page
    • Once opened, it will show available Session Recordings of people who visited that specific web page

Note: The list of recordings and basic visitor data can be exported to CSV. This link is available at the top of the Session Recording list that will populate when you open the list of Session Recordings:
