FAQ: How to find your Optimizely experiment and variant ID

As you use the Lucky Orange integration with Optimizely, you’ll see the experience and Variations ID referenced several times throughout the app. Read on to learn where to find this information within your Optimizely account. 

Note: This only applies to Optimizely’s Web Experimentation platform. Feature experimentation is excluded.

1. Log into your Optimizely account
2. Click on Experiments 
3. Select the experiment of choice 
4. Click on API Names from the list provided on the left
5. To the right, a summary of the API Names will be published. This will include:
   1. Account ID 
   2. Project ID 
   3. Campaign ID
   4. Experiment ID
   5. Variations ID
   6. Page ID
   7. Event ID
   8. Exclusion Group
   9. Audience summary

Both the Experiment ID and Variation IDs will be used throughout Lucky Orange.
