How to disconnect/uninstall your Lucky Orange HubSpot integration

In this article, you’ll learn how to disconnect/uninstall Lucky Orange’s HubSpot integration through Lucky Orange and the HubSpot marketplace. We will also explain how this may impact your HubSpot account, contact timelines and data.

You only need one method to remove the Lucky Orange integration with HubSpot. You can do this through either:

  • Lucky Orange OR
  • HubSpot Marketplace

For reference, disconnecting and uninstalling are used interchangeably through this document. Both indicate the removal of the Lucky Orange integration.

Disconnecting the Lucky Orange HubSpot integration in Lucky Orange

Note: If you have previously uninstalled Lucky Orange through the HubSpot Marketplace, you won’t need to complete this process. 

  1. Log into your Lucky Orange account
  2. Navigate to Settings from the left navigation 
  3. Click Integrations
  4. Select HubSpot
  5. Click the toggle that says “Connected”
  6. Confirm that it’s been disconnected with a gray “Connected” toggle

Disconnecting the Lucky Orange HubSpot integration in HubSpot

Note: If you have previously uninstalled Lucky Orange through Lucky Orange itself, you won’t need to complete this process. 

  1. Log into your HubSpot account
  2. Click the Marketplace icon in the main navigation bar
  3. Click Manage
  4. Select Connected Apps
  5. Find the Lucky Orange app
  6. Click Actions next to Lucky Orange
  7. Select Uninstall
  8. In the dialog box, type “Uninstall” in the text field
  9. Click Uninstall

Impacts on your HubSpot account, contact timelines and data

Disconnecting and/or uninstalling Lucky Orange from your HubSpot account can result in these impacts: 

  • Contact timelines within HubSpot will continue to display Chat logs, Session Recordings and Events associated with the contact that were previously added prior to disconnecting Lucky Orange. Once disconnected/uninstalled, this data will remain on the contact timeline. It will remain accessible as long as your Lucky Orange plan is active and is within your account’s data storage timeframe.
  • If previously enabled, Lucky Orange will no longer identify and create the event “HubSpot Form Submitted” each time your HubSpot form is submitted by a visitor on your website.
  • If previously enabled, Events from Lucky Orange, including rage click, page viewed, conversion started and cart item added, will no longer be captured and appended to the contact timelines within HubSpot.
