How to set your time zone for email report delivery

Email reports provide a daily and/or weekly update of your website’s performance. In it, you can see metrics such as total visits, a breakdown of your visitors’ device type, your busiest time of day, conversions and more. Check out this help doc for more information.Among the settings for email reports, setting your time zone ensures that you will receive your email report at the time you specified. The time zone will default to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) or GTM +0. 

Note: Your account time zone within email report delivery settings and your time zone within Chat settings aren’t connected automatically. Your email report delivery settings only apply to your specific email report with no impact on the rest of your Lucky Orange team members. On the other hand, changing the time zone within Chat Settings impacts the entire organization’s Chat appearance that will impact when Chat is available to your website visitors. 

To set your time zone within Email Reports

  1. Navigate to Settings from the left navigation
  2. Click on Email Reports from the list provided
  3. Make sure that your email report is set to active. If the Email Report settings are shown on a gray background, it’s currently not active. Click the toggle to the far right of “Delivery Settings” to activate it.
  4. Click on the drop down list located by “Your account’s time zone”
  5. Search for or scroll to select your desired time zone. This will automatically update with any seasonal time changes your area observes such as daylight savings time.
  6. Click the Save button that appears at the bottom of the page to save your changes
