How to install in Magento

Due to a bug in Google Chrome, Lucky Orange is unable to create dynamic recordings on Magento sites for visitors using chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Opera and Microsoft Edge 18+).

While we have a bug report filed with the Chrome team and are awaiting a response to mitigate the issue, here is what you can expect when using Lucky Orange on a Magento site:

  • All Session Recordings from Chrome and other chromium-based browsers will be non-dynamic. Recordings for pages that are behind a login or contain a large amount of dynamic content (e.g., checkout page) won’t be rendered with content seen by visitors in the recording playback.
  • Live View won’t be functional for visitors from these browsers, as our live view system requires a dynamic recording.

Magento users will be able to use:

  • Chat for all visitors
  • Surveys for all visitors
  • Announcements for all visitors
  • Chat Invites for all visitors
  • Dashboard, though the live visitor number won’t be accurate for those sites with a high volume of chromium-based traffic

We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to update this page as we receive updates from the Google team and work on a solution is this issue.
