How to check if Lucky Orange was installed correctly

In this help document, learn how to check if your tracking code was installed correctly on your website. This will only be available to Account Owners and Admins. Click here to learn more about roles and permissions.

1. Click the code icon in the upper right corner of Lucky Orange.   

   

2. A drawer will appear with your tracking code. Click the Check Tracking Code Status button below the tracking code.

   

3. A status icon will appear on the button while the install is being verified.

4. If the install can be verified, a confirmation will appear stating that your tracking code was installed successfully.

   

5. If the tracking code was not placed successfully, you will see one of these options:
   1. Tracking code not detected: Copy the tracking code, located in your Install Lucky Orange card, and add it to your website.
   2. No URL provided: First add your URL and re-verify installation
      1. If you received the message that no URL was provided after you clicked the Verify install button, follow these steps to add your site URL.
         1. Click on “Add URL” to jump to your Site Settings
         2. Select View Details on the far right of the site you want to add the URL to
         3. Click + Add under “Site URL”
         4. Add your URL
         5. Select Save
         6. Return to Overview using the left navigation to re-verify installation
