How to integrate Lucky Orange with Tealium

Note: Tealium iQ is required to complete this integration. For additional information, refer to this help document from Tealium or this help document for full instructions on data mapping. 

  1. In Lucky Orange: Copy your Lucky Orange Site ID
  2. Sign into your Tealium account. Using the left navigation, click on Client-Side and select iQ Tag Management
  3. Click on Tags
  4. Click “+ New Tag” located above the table of tags. If this is your first tag, this table will be empty.
  5. Search for Lucky Orange and click on the Lucky Orange logo when it populates. This will show our current logo. Don’t use “Lucky Orange (Legacy)”, which exists for our Classic users.
  6. Click Next at the bottom of the page to begin the integration process
  7. Complete Configuration
    1. Add Notes for future reference
    2. Paste your Site ID into the associated field (required to complete the integration) 
    3. Select your Publish Locations
    4. Click Next to continue
  8. Complete Rules & Events
    1. Set new tag rules and events as needed
    2. Click Next to continue
  9. Complete Data Mappings
    1. From the variable drop-down, select Query String
    2. Click “+ Add Mapping”
    3. Select all destinations that apply
    4. Click Done
    5. Select Save 
  10. Click Save/Publish at the top of the page 
    1. Add relevant notes to explain the changes in the version
    2. Set your publish location(s)
    3. Review the changes 
    4. Click Save to push the changes live

Once the integration is live, the integration leverages Tealium’s data layer for more comprehensive audience segmentation and personalization efforts with user interaction tracking captured by Lucky Orange.
