How to create Saved Replies
Note: All roles have permission to create Saved Replies. We recommend designating one person or team to set the majority of your Saved Replies for consistent messaging across your organization. You can create Saved Replies for your own personal use as well. There are two methods to creating Saved Replies:
- From Communicate section (ideal for team-wide Saved Replies)
- From a Chat conversation (ideal for personal Saved Replies or solo operators)
Creating Saved Replies from the Communicate section
- Navigate to Communicate from the left navigation
- Click on Chat Settings from the menu
- Select Saved Replies
- To start a new Saved Reply, click the purple + New Saved Reply button in the upper right corner
- Type in the name that you’ll use to generate the Saved Reply
- Enter in your desired message
- Decide if the visibility is for Everyone on your team or for your Personal use
- Click the purple Save Reply button in the upper right corner
Creating Saved Replies from a Chat conversation
Note: You can create a Saved Reply from an active or archived Chat conversation
- Click on the Chat icon in the upper left corner to open a Chat conversation
- Hover over the Chat message you want to use as a Saved Reply
- To the right of the Chat bubble, click on the three dots that will appear
- Select Save Reply
- Give your Saved Reply a name
- Modify the message if necessary
- Decide if it’s for Everyone on your team or for your Personal use
- Click the purple Save Reply button
Note: You can also add a Saved Reply by clicking on the Save Replies button in the lower left corner of a Chat conversation:
How to edit or delete Saved Replies
- Navigate to Communicate from the left navigation if you haven’t already done so
- Click on Chat Settings from the menu
- Select Saved Replies
- A list of your personal and team-wide Saved Replies will be listed.
