How to translate Lucky Orange in Firefox

Note: This guide is for translating Firefox. We also offer translation guides for Safari (mobile), Safari (desktop) and Chrome. The mobile versions of Firefox doesn't offer a translation addon at this time.

Unlike Chrome or Safari, Firefox doesn’t have a built-in translation. The good news is that there is a browser add-on to make it possible.

Install the translation add-on

  1. Download and install the Translate Web Pages add-on
  2. When prompted, click Add to give the add-on permission to translate websites
  3. Select your three target languages by clicking on the drop-down. Target language 1 will be the language that is used to translate websites.
  4. To make the translation instant, add http://www.luckyorange.com/ and https://app.luckyorange.com to the “Always Translate option.” You can do this at any time.

To translate a website

  1. With the Translate Web Pages add-on enabled, go to the Lucky Orange website or login into the app
  2. Click on the translate icon to the right of the address bar
  3. Select the blue Translate button to translate the page into your top language
  4. To pick a different language, click on Options from the translate icon
    1. Select More options
    2. Change your Target language 1 to your desired language
  5. To always translate the website directly from the website, click on Options from the translate icon
    1. Click on Always translate this
    2. The website should now show a blue checkmark to confirm

Note: You will need to translate and/or enable Always translate this site for both http://www.luckyorange.com and https://app.luckyorange.com. While the addresses are similar, Firefox considers them two unique websites and will need to be translated as such.
