What are Optimizable Segments?

Segments are groups of filters used across the Lucky Orange app to easily access the groups of visitors you want to prioritize. 

While you can customize these segments to meet your specific filtering needs, Lucky Orange provides pre-saved segments to help you get started and save you time. Optimizable segments will be displayed in a group in the segments drop-down. 

How to use Optimizable Segments

  1. Navigate to Visitors from the left navigation
  2. At the top of your table, click on Everyone. This is the default state of segments, whether used for custom-added segments or preloaded optimizable segments. 
  3. From the drop down, select from the list of available segments. Optimizable segments are shown at the top of the list. Keep scrolling to see your custom segments.
  4. Once the segment is selected, the Visitors’ Table will automatically update with the filter combinations listed below.  
  5. Click on Filters to add any additional filters as needed. This will continue to update the Visitors' Table. 

Preloaded Optimizable Segments

  • Frustrated Visitors
    • Who: Visitors who were clicking rapidly on the page or shaking their mouse/cursor
    • Events: Rage Click, Super Rage Click OR Shaky Mouse 
    • Conditions: OR - any of these events are triggered to be included in this Optimizable Segments 
  • Confused Visitors
    • Who: Visitors who repeated a form field, including search fields
    • Event: Repeated Field 
  • Survey Respondents
    • Who: Visitors who responded to one of your surveys
    • Event: Survey Responded
  • Visitors with Chats
    • Who: Visitors who previously chatted with you or another team member. This may include active or archived chat conversation.
    • Event: Conversation Created 
  • Bounced Visitors
    • Who:  Visitors who have only visited one page during their session
    • Event: Visited Page (1 page maximum)
  • Engaged Visitors 
    • Who: Visitors who viewed three or more of your web pages during their session and were on your website for at least one minute
    • Events: Pages Per Session (3 pages minimum) AND Duration (1 minute minimum)
    • Conditions: AND - both events must be met to be included in this Optimizable Segment
