In this article, find answers to our most commonly asked questions about data storage and retention. 

What data is stored by Lucky Orange? 

As people come to your website, Lucky Orange collects and displays their data. This includes:

  • Events (i.e., Survey results, Chat logs, Events and Visitor profile information)
  • Session Recordings 
  • Dynamic Heatmaps

By default, you can access this data based on your base plan (see below for details). For example, if you are on the Build plan, you would have access to your data for 60 days. You would be able to see a Session Recording captured 4 weeks ago but not 12 weeks ago.

How long is my data stored?

By default, the length of your data storage is determined by your plan:

  • Free: 30 days
  • Launch (Shopify only plan): 30 days
  • Build: 60 days
  • Grow: 60 days
  • Expand: 60 days
  • Scale: 60 days

Are there extended data storage options? 

Yes. Extended storage options are available for 60, 90, 180 and 365 days of storage. Check our pricing page for more details, or log into your account and go to Settings then Plans & Billing.

Are storage options different for customers on Lucky Orange Classic? 

Yes. Lucky Orange Classic plans have different storage tiers than customers on the current version of Lucky Orange. Within the Lucky Orange Classic Dashboard: 

  1. Click the drop down by your name 
  2. Select Subscriptions and Payments to see storage tiers
