How to forward Chat conversations to specific email addresses
Once a Chat conversation is archived by a Chat operator, the conversation is delivered as a CSV transcript to the Account Owner as well as any additional email addresses if the Conversation Forwarding option is enabled.
To enable Conversation Forwarding
- Navigate to Communicate from the left navigation
- Select Chat Settings from the menu
- Click on Behavior
- Toggle the switch to the right of Conversation Forwarding
To add additional email addresses to receive the Chat conversations
- Navigate to Communicate from the left navigation if you haven’t yet already
- Select Chat Settings from the menu
- Click on Behavior
- In the text box under Conversation Forwarding, enter your desired email addresses. Separate by commas.
- Click the purple Save Updates button when finished
Changes will take effect immediately but will not send chat conversations retroactively.
