How to set your accent color

Accent colors are used throughout your website, such as:

• Chat buttons
• Call-to-action buttons on Chat Invites, Announcements and Surveys
• Reverse color display for Announcements

To update the accent color to match with your business and organization logo or guidelines, the Account Owner or Admin should:

1. Navigate to Communicate from the left navigation
2. Click on Chat Settings
3. Select Appearance if it’s not already displayed
4. Scroll to Accent Color
5. Click on the Color code or the pencil to the right of the color.  For any changes made to the accent color, the preview to the right will update. 
6. If you know your hex code, paste it below the color picker
7. To adjust the color with the color picker: 
   1. Move the rainbow slider to adjust the color
   2. Move the color picker to select the shade 
   3. Click the toggle next to Gradient Hue to add a gradient to your accent color. If selected, a second rainbow slider will appear to select a coordinating gradient color. 
8. Click the purple Save button to make the changes live

Note: There will be a message below the hex color field that will alert you if your color values do or don’t pass WCAG AA contrast standards. These standards ensure all visitors have a positive experience. Click here to learn more about the WCAG AA construct standards.
