Introduction to the Dashboard (video tour)

Transcript: The Lucky Orange Dashboard is your hub for visitor trends and insights.

To make sure you're getting the most out of the dashboard, we'll show you around.

Date picker

The date picker lets you quickly view analytics from the past day, week, month or even year, depending on your storage plan.

Want to see how a campaign is performing? Toggle on "Compare Dates" to include the percent change over time.

Create a new dashboard

Now let's say you want a dashboard specifically for customer support statistics.  Add as many dashboard configurations as you wish.

Give it a name, decide if it is just for you or if all team members should have access to it, and then select your cards. Now it’s saved to the dashboard menu for easy access.

Add more cards

If you want to add any more cards, click the action menu and select from the full list of visualizations.

If you’re looking to get a quick feel for optimization opportunities for your site, we recommend adding:

  • the Top Pages card so you can quickly identify your best-performing pages, and
  • Funnels so you can track drop off in the conversion journey.

Customize the layout

If the layout isn't quite what you want, drag and drop cards wherever you see fit.

Take it a step further with individual card settings. You can customize each dash card name and size.

Typically, the larger card sizes will display additional details.

Some features like funnels and surveys can have multiple instances; in this case, you'll see a dropdown to view other active examples. With technical cards like browser and operating system, you can also toggle between line and bubble chart visualizations.

Engaging with other features

The dashboard serves as a great jumping-off point for additional exploration. Let's say you want to learn more about the behaviors of people coming from a specific traffic source. Clicking on the source will take you to the relevant list of visitor session recordings  to investigate further.

That wraps up our tour of the Lucky Orange dashboard!
