Viewing Visitor Sessions on the Shopify Customer Details Page

Lucky Orange's session data doesn't just live in the Visitors table — it can also appear directly on a customer's native Shopify Customer Details page, using Shopify's app block feature. This gives you visitor session history right alongside a customer's contact info, tags, and notes, without needing to jump into the Lucky Orange app.

How do I add the Lucky Orange Sessions block to a Customer Details page?

  1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Customers and open any customer's details page.
  2. Click App blocks in the customization menu.
  3. Select Lucky Orange: Sessions to add it to the page.

Once added, you can click the pin icon in the block's header to keep it pinned to this view going forward.

What does the Sessions block show?

Once added, the block displays a table of that customer's sessions, with a column for each of the following:

  • Session — a session number (e.g. Session #232)
  • Date/Time — when the session happened (shown as relative time for recent sessions, like "8 minutes ago," and full dates for older ones)
  • Visited Pages — how many pages the visitor viewed during that session
  • Duration — how long the session lasted
  • A play icon to watch that session's recording

The table is paginated, so you can page through a customer's full session history without leaving the Customer Details page.
